Vanessa has a degree in International Relations, as well as a graduate title from the high-performance program Drivers of Change where she studied and worked on social issues such as gender equity in marginalized communities and reduction of food loss in supply chains. Passionate about the promotion of human rights in the workplace, she had the opportunity to attend as listener to the 4th session of negotiation of the International Treaty on Business and Human Rights by the United Nations Human Rights Council. She also served as youth representative of the Mexican delegation at the IV meeting of the Pacific Alliance in Mexico City.

Vanessa has some certifications and diplomas in social entrepreneurship, business and human rights such as the International PROTON Certificate in intercultural competencessoft skills and entrepreneurship; a diploma in Human Rights and Groups in Vulnerable Situations by the CEDH, a certificate in Management of Internship Committees by the World Bank, and a diploma in Business Management of Human Rights from the Institute of Human Rights and Business of the Universidad de Monterrey.

Today, Vanessa is coordinator of the Diversity and Inclusion Program at Softtek, as well as a member of the coordinating team of the Diversity and Inclusion: People with Disabilities national working group of the UN Global Compact Mexico.
