Maria Paz Anzorreguy is the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) Director for ILO Coordination. She represents the Employers in the ILO governance structures; provides legal advice on issues before the ILO supervisory system. Maria is also one of the leaders of the IOE Gender Network. She also works on issues related to and supports IOE Members in Latin American and coordinates the voice of business in the Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labour of the Organization of American States (IACML/OAS). Before that she was for 12 years the lead IOE Senior Adviser on international labour standards.
She has a background in international law and negotiation and previously worked at the International Labour Office in Geneva, at the Harvard Program on Negotiation in Cambridge, Massachusetts and at an international law firm based in Buenos Aires.
She holds a LL.M from Harvard Law School and a law degree (Suma Cum Laude) from the Argentine Catholic University.
